‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Camilla Luddington on Jo, Alex, and common bond

When “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 picks up with new episodes airing on Thursday, February 27, there is going to be quite a bit to get to. We understand that for many, the big story is of course going to be the relationship with Jackson and April. After all, there was that enormous disaster at April’s wedding to Matthew.

Thanks to that, it is almost understandable that some other couples would be temporarily lost in the shuffle, but will that change soon? It certainly feels like it. Take, for example, what is coming up with Jo and Alex. These two have went through their fair share of highs and lows, and there will be plenty more of those moving forward.

However, one thing in particular that the two will have almost right away when the show picks back up is something to actually agree on. Speaking about this to TVLine, Camilla Luddington had the following to say:

“In the first episode back, which picks up right after the wedding, you see Jo being kind of a rock for Alex because he’s furious about what Shane has done to his dad. He’s distraught by it. And she’s there for him. And she’s also ready to go [toe-to-toe] with Shane. She hates Shane. She’s not for him staying at the hospital. So you see her get closer to Alex through that.”

We do still feel like there is much more of a story that will be told on this show, but it’s going to take a little bit of time to unfold. Given that the series is likely get a season 11 renewal thanks to Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo signing new two-year deals, there will not be so big of a need to rush this time around.
