‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: A deeper meaning to ‘New Directions,’ 100th episode
In case you have not heard before, “Glee” is technically making their 100th episode into more than just one episode. Instead, the show is getting set to celebrate its history with a two-part spectacular that will touch on a little bit of everything. First and foremost, though, there is the big story when it comes to whether or not the New Directions are actually going to be able to stay together at McKinley High.
So should it come as a surprise at all that the second part of this event’s title is “New Directions”? You really shouldn’t be. This installment is going to air on Fox in late March, and will be the thirteenth episode of the season. That means that if the move to New York City really happens in this episode, that means that the back nine will be entirely focused all around action in New York, and establishing what the story will be the rest of the way.
At that point, there will be many mysteries. For example, who in the world is going to be in New York? Some of the best possibilities include Blaine (Darren Criss), Artie (Kevin McHale), and Sam (Chord Overstreet). We’ve also heard that in some way or another, Jane Lynch is still going to be involved in the show … and that is the one that is the most puzzling to us right now.
