‘Supernatural’ season 9, episode 12 preview: DJ Qualls returns as Garth

Have you missed Garth on “Supernatural” season 9? Then you are probably going to be thrilled by what is going to be happening on next week. DJ Qualls is going to be back for some more stories as the character of Garth, and we’re going to learn quite a bit more information about what he has been up to in the time away from the show. Some of it is going to be very interesting; meanwhile, there will also likely be a good bit of this that ends up ticking off Sam and Dean.

Werewolves seem to at least in part be a theme for this hour, which carries along with it the very appropriate title of “Sharp Teeth.” Want to see more? Then just view the official synopsis from The CW below:

“After finding out that Garth (guest star DJ Qualls) is in the hospital, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) go to check on him. Still carrying the guilt over Kevin, Dean lays into Garth about disappearing and demands to know where he’s been. Garth makes an excuse and then hightails it away from the guys. Confused as to why Garth would run from them, Sam and Dean do some investigating and are stunned by what they find.”

Is this episode going to stand on its own more than the past few? Maybe, but it all depends on how quickly Crowley comes back from the bottom of the ocean … which is a shame we don’t see, since it sounds pretty awesome.
