ABC’s ‘Scandal’s season 3 spoilers: Harrison, Abby, and a gun

Have you missed “Scandal” and all of the insanity that comes along with it? We definitely understand. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the craziness unfold on ABC, and the show knows that it may have to play a little bit of catch-up in order to make up for this pretty lengthy / awful hiatus we’re in the middle of right now. Unfortunately, the show is not coming back with all-new episodes until Thursday, February 27 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.

In this sneak peek below, the craziness is actually focused on someone who, by and large, has been one of the least crazy of the cast members that we’ve seen: Harrison. He is seen rummaging around for a gun, and then Abby runs in and gives him a good scolding. When you consider just how much drama surrounds them on a regular basis, we’re not altogether shocked (or shocked at all) that she would want to be somewhat-protective of trying to make sure that the normal ones actually stay normal rather than continuing to go off the deep end.

ABC is still keeping a lid on what are the show’s most-scandalous (pun intended) storylines right now, including the return of Olivia Pope’s mother to Washington, Jake’s new position of power, and the election that Fitz faces an uphill battle to win courtesy of the affair and all of the other negative headlines that are out there about him. As a result of Kerry Washington’s pregnancy, there are only eight episodes left; therefore, the show may have to up the ante to get all the story they want into this compressed period of time.
