‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: ‘Lost’ alum to romance Kunal Nayyar’s Raj
Are you ready to see Raj get his romance on … again? It’s been a little while now since the Lucy saga played out, and Kunal Nayyar’s character on “The Big Bang Theory” now may have a new lady in his life. Is this going to be one that actually sticks around? It’s a little bit too soon to know for sure, but it is at least someone that brings something different to the character’s world.
According to TVLine, actress Tania Raymonde, probably best known for playing Alex Rousseau on “Lost,” is going to guest star in an episode of the CBS hit as a veterinarian who takes care of Cinnamon who has a somewhat-“surly” demeanor. The option is there for the character to potentially recur, depending on what reaction the writers and audience have to the story.
While there have been times where we wish that Raj had more to do, this season has been one of his better ones just from the standpoint of being able to actually talk with everyone. He and Stuart have had some fun adventures in trying to pick up women, and giving more for Kevin Sussman to do has brought back in that sort of partner-in-crime mentality that we had for him and Howard in the early days of the show.
Let’s just hope that you are the patient type before you get a chance to see some more of “The Big Bang Theory” around. The show is set for a brief hiatus now following airing the first two weeks of the year, but will be back well in time for the February sweeps, or at least a good chunk of it. That is when this episode will air, and there is also a story coming up that features appearances from Carrie Fisher as well as James Earl Jones.
