‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: More Barry Allen ramifications

At the end of the last new “Arrow” episode that we saw in “Three Ghosts,” there were plenty of revelations that took place. What was the biggest one? Depending on who you are, it was either the beginning of Barry Allen’s transformation into the Flash, or the reveal that Slade Wilson is very much still alive.

While it has been pretty well-documented already that we are going to see quite a bit of craziness when it comes to Slade on the show moving forward, what about Barry? Are there going to be some sort of ramifications to what happened with his possible transformation into the Flash? It certainly seems like it.

According to TV Guide, what happens with Barry is going to potentially draw Felicity away from Starling City, which is not great news considering that this is a time when Oliver really needs everything that she has to offer him. As for what this really means, that should be interesting to find out. We wonder if this character is going to eventually become a link from one show to the other, given that she has a close connection with both parties. Also, we wonder if Felicity still has unfinished business with Barry that will take her away for a good while … but we doubt it. Given the number of people out there that ship her with Oliver, we have a hard time seeing that the writers would want to pull her away forever.
