‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 11 preview: Alicia vs. Will all over again
Have you missed “The Good Wife,” and the great stories that routinely come from it? If so, you will be pleased to know that the show is back on Sunday night with “Goliath vs. David.” From one standpoint, this is going to feel very much like an episode that you saw many years ago with all of the drama and the pent-up tension; but at the same time, it’s a modern episode in the sense that this is going to very much be all about Alicia’s new firm going head to head with the old one.
First of all, how about the appearance of F. Murray Abraham? You’ve known him more lately from “Homeland,” but he will be around in a big way here to try to push the story forward. Will is going to try to take advantage of almost everything that he has in an effort to take Alicia down a notch or two, but if there is one thing that we have definitely come to know about her over the years, it is that she is a woman who is not altogether willing to go down without a fight. This is going to be fun…
This episode also marks the latest appearance of Jordana Spiro for all of you Kalinda fans out there, and it could be the beginning of an exciting arc to come for Archie Panjabi’s character. Have you been bummed over the lack of screen time for her lately? You may be consoled somewhat by what you see in the episodes ahead.
