‘The Originals’ spoilers: Phoebe Tonkin teases episode all about the ladies

Are you ready to see something very different on “The Originals“? Well, you may get your wish courtesy of an episode that changes up the focus of the show, and puts it much more on the ladies rather than the guys. This is a little bit of a twist given that so many of the episodes are often more than just a little bit male-focused. Having one that gives you more insight into what Rebekah, Hayley, Cami, and Davina have going on is much appreciated, and even needed to flesh out the characters.

This is an episode that will air early next year, and based on what Phoebe Tonkin (who plays the pregnant werewolf) said to E! News, this is going to be quite the fun one:

“It’s nice, especially with a show where there’s two very strong male figures, for a whole episode specifically about the girls … It’s about time, being like, enough is enough. We’re doing to do our own thing. Especially when you have Davina, who is the most powerful and you have Rebekah who is the most powerful vampire, man or woman, it’s about time we kind of acknowledge that.”

Hayley is going to be in a very interesting position when the show picks up, mostly in that she’s torn between two different members of the same family. She is having a child with Klaus, but at the same time it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the real person that she’d rather be with at this point in her life is Elijah. He’s the one who has really cared for her, and is not a terrible person.
