‘Homeland’ season 3, episode 12 preview: First video of ‘The Star,’ season finale
If there is one word that you could use to describe what you are going to see on the finale of “Homeland” season 3, it should be this: Epic. We are on the cusp of something life and death, especially for one character for Nicholas Brody. As a matter of fact, this could be his swan song.
Much of the past few episodes of the show has been all about Brody’s legacy, and this is where all of this could come to a head. You will see him question everything, including the label that could at some point practically be on his tombstone. At one point, this word was “Marine.” Then, it was “hero” during the early stages of season 1. After that, it became “Congressman,” and it almost became “Vice-President” not long after that. Then, it became “traitor,” and this is a chance to have it be a very different word: “Vindicated.”
But, in order for that legacy to change, he is going to need a little bit of help … and also potentially a little bit of luck.
Now, we do have to at least spend a minute or two to discuss something that may at first seem somewhat silly to most of you watching: The music, which to us was a major distraction. Why is that? It’s from “Mass Effect”! That’s at least where we know it from. This is the music that played out near the end of the third game in the series, which is right around the time that most gamers were losing their mind over how terrible the ending was. On a different note, wouldn’t “Mass Effect” make for a great TV series?

Just a small correction… The Mass Effect song, called “Leaving Earth,” plays at the beginning of Mass Effect 3. I think the song you’re thinking of that plays at end of the game is “An End Once and for All.” But yeah Mass Effect would make a great TV show!
