2014 Writers Guild Awards: ‘Orange Is the New Black,’ ‘Breaking Bad,’ ‘Good Wife’ nominated

Writers Guild Awards -Is awards season finally upon us? It’s at least starting to feel that way courtesy of the round of nominations that are out there for the 2014 Writers Guild Awards, put on by the folks over at the WGA. These are awards that any writer would love to have, since it’s coming straight from your peers, who recognize some of the hard work that you are putting into your craft on a daily basis.

It’s possible that you cannot read everything into these nominations right now, mostly because “Orange Is the New Black,” while submitted as a comedy here, will be a drama for the Golden Globes and the Emmys. On the flip side, all of the love for “Breaking Bad” is a pretty strong indicator at this point that it’s going to be at the forefront for awards shows for many months to come now.
