‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss’ wedding dress drama gets nasty (video)
Who knew that Momma Joyce was going to get this animated in expressing her never-ending disdain for her daughter Kandi Burruss’ fiance Todd? This guy is clearly showing that he is one of the most patient people alive, at least courtesy of the way in which he is withstanding the constant onslaught of comments and nasty allegations coming from this woman, even some related to a topic as serious as infidelity.
But are we starting to reach somewhat of a breaking point on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when it comes to these comments? That is at least the way that it feels right now. The sneak peek below is all about Joyce fighting once again about the Todd subject, but this situation feels very odd to us. It’s almost a Ron Burgundy – “this escalated quickly” sort of moment, since the editing is choppy and makes it feel like the arguing goes from just a few comments to Joyce standing up and getting angry in a split-second. It almost feels like we’re missing something.

“After a few days away in Alabama, Phaedra returns home still upset with Apollo for refusing to admit his part in inappropriately texting Kenya. Meanwhile, with no man in sight, Kenya hears her biological clock ticking and realizes that if she ever wants to have a baby, she’ll have to re-examine her priorities and make some hard decisions about her future. Cynthia and Leon have the inevitable “sex talk” about Noelle and her very first boyfriend. While visiting a new friend, NeNe digs up some juicy dirt on both Phaedra and Kandi’s past intimate affairs. With her divorce still in process, the stress catches up to Porsha and ends up sending her to the hospital. Now that Momma Joyce seems willing to work on her relationship with Todd, Kandi begins planning her fairytale wedding, but she still can’t escape the rumors that Todd is having an affair with her best friend, Carmon. While trying on wedding dresses with her family, all hell breaks loose, and Kandi sees her wedding dream turning into a nightmare.”
