‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Scoop on a long-lost sibling!

Ready for quite the surprise when it comes to “Bones“? Well, let’s just say that on an upcoming episode of the Fox drama (which is trying to adapt to a new timeslot on Friday night), you are going to see someone realize that there is a part of their life out there that they never before realized that they had.

According to a new report from E! News, get ready to meet a long-list sibling! What we can tell you about this character (at least for now) is that they will not be in the best shape when they first show up on the show), and they could end up potentially recurring depending on what the audience reaction to them is.

Of course, there are all sorts of hypothetical possibilities here, so trying to speculate is almost a waste of time. The only thing that appears to be obvious for now is that we are looking at a series regular here, though that’s no guarantee that we are talking about either Booth or Brennan. We are just happy that the show is being cognizant in some shape or form of the need for it to continue to try to shake things up in some manner. With Booth and Brennan married, the obvious temptation here could be for things to start to level off and become stagnant; therefore, we’re more than pleased to discover that this is not happening in the slightest.

One other story to be excited about looking ahead is the arrival of the “ghost killer,” who is the mysterious new entity that will come on the show, and try to make life a living you-know-what for all of our heroes. As for the connections between this character and Pelant, it will be explored in some form.
