‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: First photo of Lana Parrilla’s Regina, baby Henry

Baby Henry -If case you missed the reports from earlier this week, the next “Once Upon a Time” season 3 episode “Save Henry” is going to be all about the child, both past and present. Not only are you going to have an opportunity to find out if Henry can be brought back to life following what Peter Pan did to him, but we’ll also have a chance to finally learn how in the world Regina managed to adopt the child in the first place.

As you can see in the photo above, Lana Parrilla’s character is cradling who we are obviously guessing who is her new adopted boy. But what really makes this photo all the more poetic is that Mary Margaret is standing right next to her, and has no idea at all here that the baby Regina is holding is her grandson.

But does Regina really know that in this moment? You better believe it. Out of all the children in this world, do you really think that she would be oblivious as to which one was her grandson? We doubt it, given that she’s much too smart for it. We just wonder if there was any sort of alternative endgame for her with the adoption. We’ve heard that she wanted a child, but our thought here is that in choosing Henry, she wanted the opportunity to have the love here of someone that David and Mary Margaret were meant to have. Not only is this a sly little form of revenge all over again, but it also serves as an interesting little way for her to try to forget an ally in the event that the curse is ever broken. This is a complicated plan if it’s what she is thinking, but this is one complicated show.

Speaking of babies, does anyone else find this photo particularly interesting given the current news? In case you haven’t heard, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are expecting their first child together, and we have to wait and see if this pregnancy is written in the show. We already know that Charming and Snow White have had a conversation about expanding their family.
