‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ preview: Kyle Richards vs. Carlton Gebbia (and witchcraft)
We have to start this article off by saying that it almost may be better suited for “American Horror Story: Coven” than “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” After all, it’s not very often that you see a sneak peek video for the Bravo show that is all about witchcraft, and people asking whether or not they have practiced it in their lifetime.
Just for the sake of her being a practicing Wicca alone, we’re almost thrilled that Carlton Gebbia is on the cast. It’s not something that really anyone knows about save for common stereotypes, and it leads to supremely entertaining situations like the one we have in the video below. Kyle Richards questions Carlton about some of the things that she “practices,” which in turn leads to Carlton feeling slightly angry and offended with the way that Kyle is bringing it up and then pressing her about it in a very public situation. She makes her thoughts on the matter at least pretty clear in a confessional, and then also tries to explain how she refuses to practice any sort of dark arts (which makes us think of Harry Potter) since she has children … but she has done so before.

“Carlton hosts the ladies for a luncheon in her gorgeous, Gothic mansion, which sports “Victorian balls,” a spooky doll collection and black cats. When Lisa shows up to the lunch a little late, teasing from her friends about her suspect faint proves too much for her after recently being eliminated on Dancing with the Stars. Kyle upsets Carlton by asking too many questions about witchcraft, but Kyle finds herself on the defense when Brandi prompts the ladies to talk about the tabloid accusations about Mauricio cheating.”
