‘Teen Wolf’ season 3 spoilers: ‘The Secret Circle’ alum takes on top-secret season 3B role

“Teen Wolf” is a show that loves its mysteries, and this time around, we are getting one when it comes to the question of just who a certain actress will be playing on the second half of season 3. You know that when you are not even told a name or really any other details at all, it has to be something that the writers and producers are taking at least somewhat seriously here.

According to E! News, Shelley Hennig, who appeared in a big role on “The Secret Circle” and also had a guest-starring role on FX’s “Justified,” is going to be appearing on an upcoming episode of the show as … a mystery. The show is being extremely guarded about this role, and does not even the slightest detail to come out. As a matter of fact, they would probably turn into wolf-like creatures themselves if a significant spoiler on it was dropped anywhere on the internet.

Hennig is joining a show that is looking to at least take a few major detours from what we saw in the first half of season 3. There may be a little less of the super-intense storytelling with the Alphas, but there is a story coming up with Asian influences, and something that allows the characters to have more intimate moments (and we’re not all talking about something romantic). There could just be a number of nice character moments, and the to be honest really needs that. There were a few times during the first half of the season where it started to look like the show was drowning under the weight of its own mythology at times … and we can’t imagine that there was any way you could come in after missing a week or two and not be lost in some way by everything that was going on.
