NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Adam Levine reportedly to be named People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’
While we are sure that this is not an honor that Adam Levine strived to have, it is one that is supposedly going to be coming his way regardless. As Gossip Cop is first to report, the Maroon 5 frontman and coach on “The Voice” is going to be named the 2013 Sexiest Man Alive from People Magazine. This comes a year after Channing Tatum was the recipient of the honor, and it is somewhat unusual for a musician to actually earn the title, given that most of the past honorees have been actors, including George Clooney, Johnny Depp, and Ryan Reynolds.
As for whether or not Levine is the right choice, we’re not the sort of site that can judge something like that. We at least know that Maroon 5 has really never been so popular, thanks to the success of their recent album “Overexposed” and also the gig that Levine has on the show, now in its fifth season on NBC. He and Blake Shelton are still the only coaches to have been awarded the title at the end of the show.
As for what is going to be the reaction to this news on “The Voice,” we imagine that it will be completely hilarious. Blake is sure to give him all sorts of grief over it, while Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green could probably get in a few lines here and there. (In Cee Lo’s mind, we imagine that he thinks that he wins this award every single year.) Adam and Blake each still have three artists left in the competition, but we actually think that the real favorite to win this season at the moment is Matthew Schuler from Christina’s team. Even though she only has two artists left in the competition right now, they are both powerhouses with the potential to go extremely far and even win.
