‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Will Adam Lambert appear in Thanksgiving episode?
Fresh off of his appearance on “A Katy or a Gaga,” we know that there is a question that many an Adam Lambert fan has now when it comes to his future on “Glee” season 5: When is he going to be appearing on the show again? Well, we luckily now have an answer for you: Thanksgiving night.
In what seems by us to be a pretty unusual move (especially when you consider that this is the second year in a row that the show has done this), “Glee” is actually airing an episode on Thanksgiving night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. This episode will be entitled “Puppet Master,” which helps to further explain why there is a photo circulating around the internet featuring Darren Criss’ Blaine surrounded by some puppet-like imitations of some other members of McKinley High. While Adam and Demi Lovato look to be absent from the next two installments (at least per press releases, which could be wrong for the sake of surprising people), they will for sure be around for this one.
Just take a look at the full synopsis below via Fox for some more details:
“Blaine believes he has the best plan to win Nationals, but he doesn’t take the glee club’s criticism too well when the students accuse him of being too controlling. Over in New York, Kurt also runs into control issues when the band disagrees over the venue of their first official gig that Kurt booked. Meanwhile, Sue reveals the story behind her iconic tracksuit and gets in touch with her feminine side.”
As for what Adam is going to be up to in here, all we can say for sure is performing as a part of the band. The unfortunate news that comes along with this is that it’s very well possible that Adam could have a role similar to what Demi Lovato had during “A Katy or a Gaga,” which was mostly occasionally look lovingly at Santana while playing the guitar during some of the performances. Even if there are some more scenes filmed, some of them could end up on the cutting-room floor. Just as Naya Rivera about some of her previous Christmas special performances if you don’t believe us.
Do you think it’s as big of a mistake as we do for “Glee” to be airing another Thanksgiving episode, especially since their Christmas installment is really not coming on the air that much later? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! Meanwhile, click here if you want to hear some of the music that is going to be showcased during “The End of Twerk,” the episode that is airing on Fox a week from Thursday.

I think we are assuming that no one will watch after all the show airs at night after football. It will be repeated later anyway. I do think it’s odd that they are choosing to air on a holiday. don’t count out not seeing Adam much as no one has seen the episode. If producers only have him on camera for a short time they are making a big mistake. I’ve read hundreds of comments saying they are only watching show now since Adam’s debut and want to see him in every episode. Also many commented that the Lima part is boring and they want it to go away.

Yes, I think that waiting so long to have Starchild/Elliot on is a mistake..especially at a time when no one will be watching due to Thanksgiving..Glee had better utilize the amazing voices of |Adam and Demi while they are on the show..its wasted if Adam is just an after thought especially given all the positive buzz about his performance..Why book them at all if that is the case.. I dont get it..guess we will see
