‘Boardwalk Empire’ season 4, episode 11 preview: The meaning of ‘Havre de Grace’ and more

Check it out -There is some history behind the title of next week’s “Boardwalk Empire” season 4 episode in “Havre de Grace,” and it goes even beyond what you are going to see on the show. This is a town in Maryland named after a port in France, and at one point in its history, it actually served well as a stop for the Underground Railroad. It was later on that it became a little bit more known for a stop for gamblers on the way to New York City, and Al Capone was supposedly known to even make a stop or two. This is one of those clever little ways that the show honors its history, while at the same time finding a way to keep itself interesting and original at the same time.

Want to see a little bit more right now? Then just take a look at the full synopsis below via HBO:

“Nucky takes inventory after being warned of a skunk in his cellar. On the lam following a close call, Chalky and Daughter (Margot Bingham) take refuge outside Wilmington with Oscar Boneau (Louis Gossett, Jr.), his mentor from years ago. Gillian considers selling her mansion and starting a new life with Roy Phillips (Ron Livingston). Written by Howard Korder; directed by Allen Coulter.”

With there only being a few episodes left in the season, one thing that is extremely clear is that almost everyone is concerned about being found out, trapped, or killed. The walls are closing in (especially on Nucky), and he’s going to be very creative if he wants to not only survive for his sake, but also that of those who are close to him. You also have Eli and Knox each feeling some pressure from their own respective sources, and that is going to bubble over well before the season comes to a close. Take a look at the promo below for some more evidence.
