NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Switched at Birth’ actor signs on for mysterious new spot

Is there any sort of spot on “Revolution” that is not mysterious in some way? As we were writing the title above, we were really starting to ponder that question for a minute or two. This is a show that really makes a living for itself in trying to keep you guessing, whether it be with the power briefly coming back on or Stephen Collins actually playing both Rachel’s dad and a traitor at the same time. Next week, the shocker is going to be trying to figure out whether or not Rachel has the guts to actually allow her father to die, if the situation arises, where the choice is to either see him go or find a way to keep everyone else alive.

While we do not know how closely Matt Vairo will be tied to any show stunners, we can at least tell you this: According to a report from Deadline, the actor (best known from “Switched at Birth”) will be appearing on at least one upcoming episode as Connor, a dangerous guy who is both also “sexy” and a little bit cocky.

Just approximating the character’s age and also some of the attributes now almost make us think that this could be a guy who gets into a few flirting sessions with Charlie while they also debate as to whether or not killing each other is the right course of action. (Really, Charlie just likes to be the action hero. Let’s be real about that.)

There is still a huge chunk of “Revolution” left this season, and it’s for that simple reason that it is hard to really even speculate too much on who this character is or what he could be doing. The possibilities are pretty endless, and that is really what makes the whole ordeal pretty fun … at least for now. Let’s see if we feel that way if we end up not liking the character.
