‘America’s Next Top Model: Guys & Girls’: Did Marvin, Chris H., or Jourdan make finale?
“America’s Next Top Model: Guys & Girls” is getting very close to saying goodbye, but who is going to be taking part in the cycle 20 finale? Let’s just say that it is three competitors that you probably did not see coming at the start of the season.
Jourdan – This is the woman that you probably did anticipate making it to the finale. She has been dominant, winning best photo over a third of the time, and only being in the bottom half of models in two out of the past 14 weeks of the competition. That’s stunning, and it is going to take some sort of epic, shocking choke job for her to blow something that should be a given for her at this point. The guys left in the competition are great, but they don’t have that track record.
Marvin – This one is the biggest surprise. Named “starvin’ Marvin” at times for his frequent attempts and failures with the women, before finally getting Renee to succumb to his charmsto a certain extent, he has at times just been edited as a goofball. Is he a good model? Sure, and while we like him and Cory much more than Jourdan and her frequent admissions of her ex-husband, it’s hard to justify a guy beating her unless Tyra Banks really just wants to give it to a man in the end.
Cory – We were surprised to see Cory in the finale over Chris H., even though he may have a personality that is easier to identify with. Cory’s story has been one of growth. Early this season, we placed him at around sixth place at best; now, he has a one-in-three chance of winning. We still don’t think that he will, but he has come a long way.
Renee joins Chris H. in just missing out on the finale, which is very sad news for both of them after coming so far. But at least the lineup is now set, and we can move on to where we start asking the all-important question of who will win.
