‘The X Factor’ UK: Rough Copy adds Kaz Ajobe to live shows; were Souli Roots rumors false?

Take a look -Before we move on from this weekend’s craziness when it comes to “The X Factor” UK, there are a few loose ends that need to still be tied up when it comes to some of the acts.

First, we turn to Rough Copy. The group was reduced to two in order to go to judges’ houses, mostly because Kaz Ajobe was unable to attend that phase of the competition because of visa issues for the second straight year. Gary put the two through to the next round, hoping that he would be able to bring the guy (who originally brought the group together years ago) back to the fold for the live shows.

So did he deliver? It definitely appears like it. At the end of the judges’ houses show tonight, Gary Barlow arrived to tell Kaz that he has found a way to bring him back into the fold, and for the duo to once again become a trio. Hooray! For the group, who really deserved to be back together after all they have done together, this seems to be the right ending to their story to this point.

Now, we turn to another mysterious story:  The fate of Souli Roots. There were rumors that popped up earlier this year that she had made it somehow into the live shows, and that Gary Barlow was furious about it. However, there was no news about her joining during this show, as all of the members of Sharon Osbourne’s Overs were still there. Plus, she would still need to explain how someone in judges’ houses even made it to this stage in the show.

One other interesting note? There is no word right now on a wild card for the season. Hopefully, the show is just going to do away with that after Christopher Maloney somehow used this to get to the finale; were it not for changes in the voting, the man could have even won the whole thing in a nightmare situation.
