‘Survivor: Blood vs. Water’ video: Caleb Bankston reacts to Colton Cumbie quitting

Meet Caleb -Are you interested in seeing just what Colton Cumbie’s fiance had to say about him quitting the game on “Survivor: Blood vs. Water” Wednesday night? While the show gave us a little taste of it courtesy of the dramatic scene at Redemption Island, the secret scene below is really something that would have actually been a nice little addition to the actual show.

In it, you can see Caleb Bankston’s return to camp with the rest of the Tadhana tribe, and he does his best once again to keep a clear head about the whole ordeal. He claims that he is doing “fine,” even while the rest of his tribe members reassure him that all is good and that he and Colton clearly love each other.

At the end of the day, Caleb’s comments in the video almost seem to echo perfectly what Colton told us yesterday in an exclusive interview: He realizes that Caleb has a better shot at winning the game without him, and thanks to his move to quit the game, a weight can be lifted off of his shoulders. The relationship between the two is not affected at all by the move that Colton made, and in a sense Caleb is relieved that Colton left when he was starting to realize that the road he is going down was one where the darker, uglier side of him could come out more and more.

Caleb’s entire attitude here is just another reason why he is in a really great position to go far in this game. He’s extremely likable, works hard at around camp, and he’s in a pretty tight alliance for now. The only thing that Caleb needs to make sure of is that his tribe starts to actually win some challenges. Otherwise, he could be in a little bit of trouble sooner rather than later.
