‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Could Sarah Drew’s April be married this season?

Everyone loves weddings, right? Well, “Grey’s Anatomy” definitely seems to, when you consider that we have seen some over the years for Cristina / Owen (followed by a divorce), Meredith and Derek and last season Bailey and Ben. So is April going to be the next person to walk down the aisle? If you look at where the characters are, she is the one familiar face at the hospital who seems to be well on her way. She and Matthew are now engaged, and she is at least going to be planning a possible wedding in the episodes ahead.

However, there is a twist here that is going to be thrown into the mix: While Shonda Rhimes will confirm that there is some sort of wedding ceremony coming this year, she is being coy when it comes to saying just who is going to be the bride and groom. Just take a look at her comment to TV Guide for more on the matter:

“I’ve been planning one, so I think we’re going to see one, yes. I’m not going to say a word, but we’ve been making plans for that kind of thing.”

As for some of the other candidates right now, you have to consider the likes of Jo and Alex as possible contenders, given that they are now together and it feels like Alex has finally found the person that is right for him. Meanwhile, you still cannot rule out April and Jackson, since you know that there are feelings there.
