‘Downton Abbey’ season 4, episode 1 preview: See Ed Speleers, Lesley Nicol, and more

The latest -Can you believe that the season 4 premiere of “Downton Abbey” is finally just about here? Well, in just 24 hours from this article’s publication date, the hit ITV series will be back on British ITV with some all-new episodes.

As for what the story for this episode will be, we can tell you already that there will be a story based all around Lady Mary as she tries to figure out how she can move on without Matthew in her life, and be a good mother and member of the household in the process. This is going to be a slow building process, and it’s fair to say that you are not going to see her jumping into the arms of another man at any point in the immediate future.

But what about some of the servants? We’ve already talked about one of the show’s most-popular couples in Anna and Bates, and today, we’re spending a little bit more of our time concentrating on some of the others. Take, for example, the likes of Jimmy, Thomas, and Alfred, who are all seemingly getting along again now after what they went through last season. Heck, they even seem to be enjoying a little game together on a break from constantly taking care of the needs of the wealthy. As for if Ed Speleers’ character shows off any more feelings in the near future for a certain other character, that remains to be seen.

Take a look -As for another one of our favorites in Mrs. Patmore, the photo here featuring Lesley Nicol and Sophie McShera (Daisy) certainly suggests that the two are listening in on some sort of important conversation. The two appear pretty shocked at what is going on around them, and that to us mostly means one thing: We’re in for quite the curious story here. We just personally hope that Patmore finds someone to spend her time with after such a sad storyline at the end of last season.
