NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: The passage of time; Rachel’s new mission
In just two weeks from today, “Revolution” season 2 is going to be back on NBC with new episodes. What does this mean? Plenty more action, mystery, and also the opportunity to find out a little bit more about what makes some of these characters tick.
When it comes to Rachel, for example, the show is going to utilize a somewhat-familiar strategy: Using flashbacks. According to TV Guide, six months will have passed between the end of season 1 and what we see here will be an investigation into what happened following a pair of key bombings in major cities.
Meanwhile, Rachel will also be working to try to figure out an answer to another important question: Was Randall working for someone when he made his fateful decision? This basically is yet another example of a very popular theory: Behind every big bad is an even bigger bad who rises to the surface. Neville can’t be the major adversary this year, can he? We can’t image so, as there are plenty more people on this show that we still have to meet … and not all of these new faces will be fighting on the side of good.
Overall, we really just hope that “Revolution” delivers the goods this year when it comes to giving Elizabeth Mitchell more to do beyond just her family. She’s capable of awesome things, after all.
