‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 7 spoilers: Leonard returns; Jim Parsons news

We have a couple of “Big Bang Theory” items to share today, but we will begin with the announcement that Jim Parsons is going to be appearing tonight on the season finale of TLC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?”. It’s a nice opportunity to really learn more about an actor who is typically very private, as he does not have a Twitter account and only does the occasional interview here and there. The show was recently renewed by the network for another season, meaning that there will be opportunities for more celebrities in the future to get in touch with their history.

As for some other news related to “The Big Bang Theory”, Leonard is back in action! The photo that we have attached to the top of this story is from the second episode airing on September 16, which will feature the character arriving back in California after a long summer at sea working with Stephen Hawking’s crew. This Leonard is sans beard (unlike the one we saw in the promo here), and Sheldon happy to have his roommate back.

We have already heard that the transition for Sheldon without his roommate around is going to be an incredible difficult one, as he is going to be forced to rely on someone that he often chides in Penny … in addition to Amy, who does not live nearly as close by. While we hope that Sheldon will have found some more independence with his pal away, there’s also a part of us that sincerely doubts that this is ever going to happen.
