‘The Newsroom’ season 2: Alison Pill opens up about infamous text … with humor
On Sunday night’s new episode of “The Newsroom,” we are going to be seeing Alison Pill’s character of Maggie Jordan being forced to take on some difficult circumstances. In the wake of Operation Genoa “News Night” she is going to be feeling pressure to deliver a great show, and she will also be dealing with the pain / suffering that comes from what happened to her in Africa. Not only that, but you have to wonder whether or not her and Jim Harper are going to be on the best terms.
We have already shared some sneak peeks from this episode that give you a little bit of a better idea just what to expect, and in the absence of new ones, we have a video below featuring Pill talking about a completely different sort of personal crisis … though it is hardly one as severe as anything that Maggie has gone through on TV.
The actress appeared on “Conan” this past week, and for the first time really opened up about a rather revealing photo of her that spread across the internet last year. This was something that Sloan Sabbith from “The Newsroom” could relate to, though they each happened under very different circumstances. Pill told the late-night host that she really blames her Blackberry for the entire incident ever happening in the first place, as she was trying to send it to her fiance Jay Baruchel, who was on the other side of the country working. This is the truth about technology: It can be useful, but it can also be very evil.
Do you think that Pill is handling this situation really in the best way that she possibly could? If you want to see the news about the official season 3 renewal for “The Newsroom,” be sure to click here.
