‘The Amazing Race Canada’ preview: The Nova Scotia adventure

What happened? -After spending a grueling leg in Nunavut on “The Amazing Race Canada,” there is going to be no rest for the wicked … or the nice, for that matter. The teams will be heading off to Nova Scotia for a leg that will hopefully show off everything that the Maritime province has to offer, and also some stress to go along with it.

Sadly, there really is not any sort of preview out there to share here for the episode right now, but expect to see some teams struggle more than others. Vanessa & Celina will have some classic car trouble, while Jet & Dave could actually clash on a Roadblock that could destroy the favorites’ chances of actually making it to the final round. There will also be the return of the Double U-Turn, and judging from the fact that Tim & Tim are thinking about U-Turning someone, they have to be one of the teams to make it there.

If we were to rank the teams at this point in terms of their likely finish, it would go somewhere like this.

1. Jet & Dave – They’ve won the most legs overall, generally get along well, and can beat most of the other people remaining now in a footrace.

2. Jody & Cory – Inspirational guys who tend to excel just by making smart decisions and not getting frustrated. They are probably the slowest team left, though, and needs to get a good lead to come out on top.

3. Tim & Tim – Really lucky to even be here, but when they are on, they are a pretty competitive team. Easily the most inconsistent pair on the season.

4. Vanessa & Celina – It’s interesting that even though they have never finished in last, it still feels like the sisters are just as lucky as the Tims to still be around. Their biggest strength is simply that they are so non-threatening that teams have helped them in many ways (U-Turning other teams, giving them an Express Pass).
