‘Arrow’ season 2: More news from Manu Bennett; he, Stephen Amell featured in cast poster

For the latest update on “Arrow” season 2, we start with a video featuring Manu Bennett talking about one of the more intriguing moments from the show’s first go-around when it comes to his character Slade. This is not a man that anyone really knows very much about, and there is a good reason for that.

Given that Bennett was promoted over this summer to series regular, it’s pretty easy to make the assumption that we will be seeing much more of him. How much more? That remains to be seen based on a few key variables, some of which we are about to get into.

We have the first poster for the new season attached! This is a very interesting look at the cast now for the year ahead, though there are a couple of interesting highlights about it. First of all, Bennett is included despite it being completely not canon for Slade to be in the present (though that is always possible). Also, where are Felicity’s glasses? We know that Stephen Amell said at Fan Expo this past weekend (read more here) that we were going to see a more glam side to Emily Bett Rickards’ character, but still. It’s also nice to see that Thea Queen has Roy Harper dressed in something other than a red hoodie this time around.
