With the series premiere of “The Originals” coming up on Thursday, October 3, there is quite a bit to be excited about, but why not start things off today by talking about someone we are still getting to know? This is where the Sophie character enters the discussion. She is a pretty powerful witch, but given the circumstances of life in New Orleans these days, she’s not really able to do very much.
Therefore, this is why Danielle Pineda explains in the video below that in order for any of her plans to be successful at this point in taking down Marcel, she needs to rely somewhat on the help of Klaus. Given the track record of Joseph Morgan’s character, this is understandably not going to be something that she will be able to do easily. However, we see her options as follows: Either she tries to make something happen and relies on him, or does nothing and continues to see her power suppressed. It’s a character that we are definitely excited to see more of.
Meanwhile, the post attached here shows off the Marcel character sitting in what may as well be his throne of power, while the three members of the Original family all look on from the world’s largest picture frame. It’s an interesting dynamic in that they are surely going to capture your attention, but at the same time, this poster serves as a reminder that Marcel is going to be an enormous part of this show. He’s the Big Bad at the moment, and that is saying something given that Klaus is the biggest bad of them all.
