‘American Idol’ season 13: Why Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun may say no

American Idol -At the moment, the “American Idol” judging panel seemingly has two names firmly on board with Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban. Both have been on the show before, and while they may not be the favorites of every diehard fan in the land, we also would have a very hard time believing right now that there are many people out there who would have any sort of deep-seeded hatred for them.

But what about Scooter Braun? Justin Bieber’s manager is the latest name that has been attached to the show as of late, with the claims being that Jennifer Lopez is specifically campaigning very hard to get the man on board. When it comes to the interest level on Fox’s part, we’re sure that they have it as “high” given that he is partially responsible for the success of Justin, Carly Rae Jepsen in America, and also The Wanted.

However, the real question now is whether or not this is something that Scooter would necessarily be interested in doing? TMZ reports that the manager is “flattered” by the interest that is out there, but there are two issues weighing heavily on his mind:

1. While many Beliebers around the world know his face, others do not, and he apparently enjoys his behind-the-scenes role and does not want to be recognized everywhere he goes.

2. Scooter may consider doing the show if he could have the management rights to any contestant that he wants from the winner on down. Given that this has always been handled by 19 Entertainment, we have a hard time imagining that this would happen.

Even if you hate Scooter, him joining the show would probably still not be the worst news of your week related to “American Idol.” That may be found right here.
