‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3: The good and bad from the first promo video

“Once Upon a Time” fans, the promotional campaign has begun! The great news to share here is that we have the first promo for the hit ABC show courtesy of the network. As for the bad news … it’s not a promo featuring any new footage from the season.

Instead, what we have for you here is a promo that is more of a highlight reel of some of the big moments from the season 2 finale, including Henry being sent to another world (meaning Neverland) alongside Greg and Tamara, while Captain Hook and his crew start on their voyage, and some of the danger that is going to await them. There is also a pretty strong allusion thrown in here to Peter Pan, even though this is the one character right now that is more mysterious than all of the rest. Is Pan a true villain, or just someone with very complicated motives? At this given moment, it is rather difficult to figure out.

Some of the other things to look forward to on this coming season include the possibility of seeing more of Belle leading a charge in Storybrooke, Neal trying to figure out why he is in the Fairytale World yet again, and also if Regina and Emma can get along for an extended period of time on a boat. (We have a very strong suspicion that this is not exactly going to work out well for everyone.)

If nothing else, you can take a little bit of solace in the fact that season 3 returns in just a matter of six weeks on Sunday, September 29 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
