‘Real Housewives of Miami’ preview: Adriana De Moura and the ‘planting’ accusation

No matter what version of “The Real Housewives” franchise we’re talking about, there is really one thing that seems to remain almost a constant: There will be drama, and a good percentage of it is going to revolve around the notion of someone supposedly “planting” stories in the tabloids and accusing someone else of shady behavior.

On this particular occasion, what we are talking about here is the latest chapter of a long-simmering “Real Housewives of Miami” feud between Adriana De Moura and Lea Black, following a story that appeared about the former being married. In the video below, Adriana goes at Lea vigorously, accusing her of being a “wicked sister” and for planting a story to embarrass her. Lea denies this, and the two go back and forth in a fight that really does not end up getting either party anywhere.

These two are not the only stars of the show this week going through drama (shocker!), and you can read a little bit more about it in the official synopsis via Bravo below:

“The black clouds are rolling in as Adriana and Lea’s feud comes to a boiling head when the two finally meet in a stormy showdown. Joanna’s trip down the aisle may be in jeopardy after Romain pops a question of a different sort. And Lisa discovers that buying their dream property on the hottest island in Miami has become more like a nightmare.”

While the 1.4 million viewers and the 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic were not exactly stellar numbers for the show’s premiere last week, they were also not terrible compared to past entries. Could this season be the one where this show finally catches on? Time will tell.
