‘Supernatural’ season 9: Who’s doing their best impression of Misha Collins’ Castiel?

The cast and crew over at “Supernatural” work very hard (they have to if they are going to shoot more than 22 episodes a season), but they also play pretty hard to go along with it. Want to see some evidence of that? Then just take a look at what one of the show’s actors just posted over social media.

In a post on his Instagram page (which you can see here), Osric Chau, otherwise known as the all-important prophet Kevin Tran, posted a photo of himself sporting full Castiel regalia, and captioned it as follows: “So this happened yesterday. #AsianCas.” As someone who has seen some a lot of cosplay from Misha Collins’ character over the years, we gotta say that this is pretty great.

As for whether or not this was just taken for the fun of it, or is some sort of tease about a twisted plot coming up this season, that’s the mystery for the time being, but either way, it’s a fun little image to keep the fan conversation going. Given the secretive nature of the “Supernatural” set, there is really not that much to talk about in between now and when the show actually starts to air on The CW come Tuesday, October 8 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. We are going to see plenty of Kevin this coming season, and given that Collins is now a series regular, it’s also fair to expect plenty more of him, as well.
