‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: ‘The Killing’ scene-stealer takes on familiar DC role

The latest -Is there a rising star on TV quite like Bex Taylor-Klaus? While she was not in every episode of “The Killing” season 3 as Bullet, the troubled street urchin who eventually forged a powerful bond with Holder before (spoiler alert!) being killed off after she started to learn too much information, the scenes she was in were some of the more powerful ones of the season.

Based on the performance she gave on the AMC show, there was little question that she would find another role soon, and we now know that this role is going to be coming on “Arrow” season 2. Sources have confirmed that the actress will be on board the show this season as Sin, which is a role that many DC readers may be familiar with already. Like Bullet, the role is that of a street urchin, but Sin is likely going to have a role in the Black Canary storyline that is going to slowly be introduced throughout the year. Given where she comes from, there are also likely connections between her and Roy Harper.

This casting is effective in giving the city another voice, and reminding us that many of the younger characters out there are not taken care of financially on the same level as either Laurel or Oliver. We’re also down for anything that gets Taylor-Klaus more screen time, and gets us closer to Katie Cassidy’s character potentially becoming the hero that she is in some ways hopefully destined to be.

While this is still a show about Oliver first and foremost, Laurel is going to have quite a bit of story to get through this season, as well. She will also face some complications relating to a new position at the District Attorney’s office, whether it be some new co-workers or dealing with the presence of Oliver’s mother going through trial proceedings.
