‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: Nick Jonas to guest-star as…

The latest -Nick Jonas continues to improve his primetime acting resume. After appearing on “Last Man Standing” along with the short-lived series “Smash” and “Mr. Sunshine,” CBS announced on Tuesday that the Jonas Brothers member, fresh off of an appearance at the Teen Choice Awards, is going to be guest-starring on an upcoming “Hawaii Five-0” season 4 episode.

So what role will Jonas be playing? According to the casting note, he will join the drama as a skilled computer hacker in a case that the team is investigating … but who also has some motives that could be rather debatable.

So is Jonas going to keep his shirt on for this role? Considering that he recently posted a rather ripped picture on social media, and we’re not sure that is the right physique for a hacker.

As for “Hawaii Five-0,” this show has developed a reputation over the years for securing some popular actors in terms of boosting viewership. This year, they are bringing back Terry O’Quinn and have cast Jorge Garcia and Henry Ian Cusick. In other words, this show is pretty much now “Lost” 2.0 except with police rather than an island with a smoke monster. There may also be a hope here that Jonas will convince some young viewers to watch the show, which is something that it has struggled with in the last few years. At the same time, though, the woeful ratings for the Teen Choice Awards this year prove that having big names in the target demo does not exactly equal viewers.

What do you think about this casting, and do you think that Jonas will bring something interesting to the role? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! “Hawaii Five-0” moves to Friday nights starting this fall.
