‘White Collar’ season 5 spoilers: A ghost from Peter’s past comes back
“White Collar” season 5 may not be premiering on USA until the fall, but it’s never too early to start dishing out a little scoop on it. So far over the summer, most of what we’ve written about pertains to one of the show’s stars more so than the other in Matt Bomer’s Neal Caffrey. Therefore, we’re going to switch gears here, and put the focus instead on what is going to be coming up for a certain character played by Tim DeKay.
According to a new report from E! News, the premiere episode is going to be a particularly dramatic one for Peter. Not only is there going to be someone from his past that shows up and causes some trouble in his relationship with Elizabeth, but this person also happens to be a woman. The trouble will be made even worse by the sticky situation that Peter is in already courtesy of the law.
We’ll just add this issue to the tab of what Peter and Neal have to get through early this season, which primarily includes trying to clear the former’s name for murder, and you know that this is not going to be particularly easy based just on the nature of the crime. Also, we’re going to be seeing a new potential love interest for Peter show up, and some thrilling cases that involve everything from firefighting to the world of competitive ice skating. If only we could see one our main characters strap on a set of skates and hit the rink themselves.
As for guest stars, Mark A. Sheppard is returning to reprise his role as the character from the show’s pilot, and that aforementioned love interest will be played by “Beauty and the Beast” alum Bridget Regan.
