‘Hart of Dixie’: See Wilson Bethel go for laughs on ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’

Whose Line -Even though “Hart of Dixie” season 3 may still be several weeks out, we are going to get an opportunity to see Wilson Bethel back in action on The CW Tuesday night for something a little bit different: A new episode of “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” the sketch show that has won our hearts dating back to the days of Drew Carey.

Earlier this summer in promoting the show, Wilson was in particular praised by Wayne Brady for having some of the best improv skills out of anyone on the show, and this is going to really be in full display here courtesy of two separate skits, including the all-familiar “Helping Hands.” This should be a nice opportunity for him to show off a different side that you don’t see as Wade, and that has been one of the positives to incorporating CW guest stars on the show’s revival.

As for this season of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” as a whole, it is still pretty darn funny. We are a traditionalist that does miss some of the old games (“Hoedown,” “Irish Drinking Song,” and “Party Quirks” in particular), so we would probably take a few of these in place of seeing “Sideways Scene,” which really loses some of its novelty after it has been done a few times. We’re thrilled that the show has already been renewed for a second season, though, mostly so that the team can go back and figure out what games that people most want to see make a return appearance.

Are you excited to see this week’s episode, and are you watching just to check out Wilson? If you want to see some more scoop on the upcoming “Hart of Dixie” season, be sure to head on over to the link here.
