‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Vicki Gunvalson vs. Slade (and Gretchen Rossi)

In a more general preview yesterday for Monday night’s “Real Housewives of Orange County” episode, it looked like Vicki Gunvalson was going to be doing some of what she does best: Fighting. However, the fight that we have a chance to see now is particularly notable just thanks to how ridiculous it truly is.

It’s hard to really watch the video below with a straight face thanks mostly to the way in which the entire subject is handled. Vicki approaches Slade by saying that she is extremely unhappy with the way in which she was treated on his radio show, where he seemingly referred to her (not mentioning her name) as a “Muppet,” and also taking a jab by calling her “tupperware face.” None of this was remotely nice, and she wanted to confront him about it.

But the way in which Vicki handles this is just … strange. At first, we thought that there was going to be some sort of epic battle that resulted in screaming and people scrambling like ants around the Winter Wonderland party. Instead, Vicki takes this as an opportunity to … promote her own wine! Yep, there is never a business opportunity that she will shy away from, and this one involves bacon. Seriously. This has to be the worst way to launch a product on TV ever.

The only reason that there is hope for something dramatic to still happen is because Gretchen Rossi chimes in, and hands out a rather nasty comment that could spark up the action yet again.
