‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Flashbacks, titles, and new casting

More news -Who doesn’t love more “Supernatural” episode titles? Let’s start here with what we know so far: The premiere is “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here,” and that will be followed up with both “Devil May Care” and then “I’m No Angel.” So how should the show ultimately follow all of this up? How about by diving into something completely different?

After spending three weeks seemingly alluding to one of the biggest changes of the year in the angels now being on earth, the title for episode 9×04, per SpoilerTV, is “Slumber Party.” What does this mean? To us, it’s further evidence that the show is in fact going to be shifting to some more standalone episodes after the first three are complete. (When you have an episode order as big as this show does, it is really next to impossible to maintain stories without some sort of a break thrown in there.)

This episode is going to go way back to the 1930s with some flashbacks featuring characters that we have yet to meet. One of them is going to be a huntress by the name of Dorothy, and the other is a more-mysteriously known figure known as Haggerty. Who could these two people be? While “Supernatural” has ventured into flashbacks and time travel at many points in the past, there is always a reason for it. Therefore, we have to assume the same exact thing here.

We have a few more details about some of these standalone episodes and the Men of Letters mythology, and you can check out all of that by heading on over to the link here.
