‘The X Factor’ USA / UK notes: Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar, James Arthur

The latest highlights -We’re not going to spend much time talking about the Simon Cowell situation today, mostly because it’s pretty hard to say anything positive about the guy sleeping with his friend’s wife. However, we do want to kick things off here today by posting one of our favorite reactions to this news, and it comes via Simon’s bromance partner and fellow “Britain’s Got Talent” judge David Walliams on Twitter:

“For the record @SimonCowell and I tried to have a baby together for many years. But I just couldn’t get pregnant.”

Just in case you have never seen Simon and David’s interactions, the video below has you covered. It’s basically proof as to why “Britain’s Got Talent” has the best panel of any show on TV, even more than any version of “The X Factor.”

Fifth Harmony’s busy Monday – If you want to follow the girl group around on Monday, you have your work cut out for you. This is literally their schedule in New York City: They have “Fox & Friends” at 6:00 a.m., the Sony Atrium at 10, the Disney Store at noon, Madison Square Park at 3:00 p.m. and the iHeartRadio Theater at 5. Basically, they’ve got as little wiggle room as possible to cram everything in for the day, but this has to nonetheless be pretty exciting, no? The ladies are still in the top 50 of the pop charts with “Miss Movin’ On,” but would surely like to see their spin count build up faster.

Carly’s reminder – Just a quick note that Carly Rose Sonenclar is currently rehearsing for her next major concert a week from today at the Best Buy Theater. Have you purchased tickets yet? We’re sure that she will perform her original song “Unforgettable” if you haven’t heard it yet.

Finally, a James Arthur tease – Expect to see James’ first post-“X Factor” single released in the coming weeks, but for now, here is an audio clip of something that he has been working on in the studio. Given that “Impossible” went #1 in several countries, there are hopes that he will be able to be the most successful male solo artist to come out of the show since Olly Murs.
