Is Desiree Hartsock still miserable in the present over some of the depressing circumstances of Monday night’s “The Bachelorette”? Based on what we are hearing right now, hardly. Regardless of whether or not Brooks’ luscious head of hair sprouts a set of wings and flies him back into the competition, she seems to be happy now and no longer someone privy to fits of tears and proclamations that the guys she loves do not feel the same way about her.
This evidence comes to us courtesy of the ever-vocal Chris Harrison, who told reporters this week (per Reality TV World) that in spite of anything that does or does not happen in the closing moments of this season, our leading lady is happy and fully recovered at the end of the day … or at least she was in the weeks prior to this devastating episode coming on TV:
“The last time I saw her it was at The Men Tell All a couple of weeks ago. And you know, she’s good! The great thing about Des — and I am assuming this comes from her background and the way she grew up — is that she’s a survivor and she’s strong. When we started this thing, she said, ‘Look, I am going to go for it and I am going to allow myself to be very vulnerable.'”
We will actually get an opportunity to see just how Desiree feels about her present situation in an interview on “After the Final Rose,” which is going to air live Monday. This is the first time that we will potentially see Desiree and Brooks together as a couple, and thanks to it airing live, there will be no spoilers.
