‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Check out Emily Deschanel, cast in first photo

Just like Fox had plenty of things worth talking about at their Television Critics Association summer panel on Thursday, some of the programs were also lifting the lid on a few surprises. When it comes to a certain hit drama in “Bones,” this meant getting an opportunity to see the entire cast together for the first promotional photo for season 9.

In this photo, you have an opportunity to see Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) seemingly appearing as a happy couple, almost as if there isn’t a care in the world and they did not have their wedding plans come to a screeching halt in the finale. Then again, this image is not meant to really be canon to the show, anyway: It’s just a nifty little shot for sites like us to have something current to post when talking about the show. (We do very much dig the color scheme.)

As for some of what you are going to see following the show’s September 16 premiere, one of the biggest stories to unfold is going to be the journey of Booth and Brennan back on the wedding path, and how a priest from Booth’s past could help with that. Given that executive producer Hart Hanson has already confirmed that wedding is coming this year, we’re not really giving anything away when it comes to that. Also, brace yourself for an exciting Sweets storyline, and also some more great cases that include an awkward trip to couples therapy.
