‘Big Brother 15’ review: Howard as Mr. Mystery, Helen as Doc Brown
When it comes to moments that brought us great humor tonight, Howard’s random-speak was one of them, but so was pretty much the bizarre “Doctor Who” meets “Jurassic Park” Veto Competition and Helen’s Doc Brown wig. The show knows that it’s cheese sometimes, and they just dive right in like bread to fondue.
But when you look at the progress of this season right now purely from an entertainment perspective, it’s missing something. For one, there is no real character that is worth rooting for all of the time, even though we do personally like Judd. There’s also not a lot of big moves being made, mostly because we are seeing this MVP twist decimate the house of many of its personalities. While that would not have mattered this week, imagine if the house still had Nick in the game. That would have changed something around, right?
We know that tomorrow’s episode will also be predictable, with Howard leaving and everyone else bracing for what will likely be an endurance competition. We just want to see some sort of classic “Big Brother” moment along the way that really makes us feel like there are some legends in this game, save for Judd’s bear shirt, anyway.

Howard is not a jerk -he is human and we all have choices to make on a daily bases, good and bad. He tried to be something he is not, a liar and manipulator which is what it takes to win this game. Helen is both, a true snake who will smile, cry and laugh on cue at the drop of a dime all in the name of of the “Game”. Lets just say I hope no one crosses her at work or threatens her marriage as it seems to be apart of her human makeup of who she is.
Regarding Howard’s coded speech, every Black person understood him. We tend to talk that way as it is engrained in us not to come straight out and say matter of fact actions against someone else, especially in there presence. It’s called snitching and it’s something that unless you’re directly beefing with another one on one is just not done. As a private school educated person I can attest to this fact. Suffice it to say when you’re in a house of people who are used to unfiltered versions and dont stop to question you for definitive answers you get the results Howard received -Confusion.
Lastly racist Barbie Arryne needs to invest in getting her teeth fixed and not being so mean. She looked like the cat who ate the canary when she told Candice to “Saddle up!” and take the nominee chair. She has an ugly heart and actually blamed Candice for all her ill’s in the house. For her getting called out on being racist and throwing her items on the floor. She is a delusional simpleton whom Helen is playing like a fiddle and she’s too much of an air head to get the gist of it. Due to her prejudiced mind she see’s Helen as a passive Asian girl eager to acclimate and fall in line -not as the bright, cunning and clearly fierce dragon lady that she is. Big Brother needs to get in more intelligent players to make the game more interesting to watch.
