‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Brooks Forester – Desiree Hartsock reunion possible
While ABC has released some promotional material already hyping up what could be the end of a very dramatic season of “The Bachelorette” next week, there has been one thing that they have shied away from doing thus far: Saying or suggesting anything regarding the possibility of Brooks Forester coming back on the show next week, and possibly still winning the heart of Desiree Hartsock in the end.
For the first time in his myriad of interviews talking about this episode, Chris Harrison spoke to TV Guide and briefly addressed the odds of Brooks coming back on the show this season. While he certainly did not confirm anything to silence the gasps of some out there in the audience, he also certainly did not close the door on the possibility of it happening. He also talked about Drew Kenney and Chris Siegfried, who at this point really don’t seem to matter much in the eyes of anyone:
“There’s nothing typical about this finale. It begins with her and I sitting down and putting the pieces together of where we go from here. Are you going to give these other guys a chance and if so how is that even possible? But the other dynamic here is that Chris and Drew have no clue because we separate everybody at this point. So we also have to deal with that there are two really good guys who very much love her and we owe it to them to have a conversation and tell them what happened. And then there’s Brooks. If anybody was ever set to come back and be wishy-washy, it’s him. There’s definitely that option.”
Here’s what we are also curious about: If Brooks does come back, does Desiree have to do an impromptu rose ceremony and eliminate one of the other two guys; or, does she simply send the two of them home and have Brooks propose right away? Maybe the longtime favorite sees this entire ordeal as a wake-up call that he does love her, and is just terrified of commitment.
