‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Why Shay Mitchell, Rumer Willis meet

RumerWhen you first heard the news that Rumer Willis was guest-starring on an upcoming episode of “Pretty Little Liars” playing the part of Emily’s former boss, it would be hard to blame you if your eyes started to roll around in your head. How could someone so young even have a former boss? As it turns out, we know that the reports that were floating around were actually talking about her former boss in Haiti.

In the video below from Tuesday night, it’s actually none other than Ezra Fitz who makes the pitch for Emily to give Rumer’s Zoey a call, as he is trying to get her to use it as a major reason to campaign to get into a college. Is it a smart move? The answer there is “definitely.” While she may not be able to swim for the time being (if ever), schools do look at everything from community service hours to a few other intangibles, and we can guarantee you that community service work is on there somewhere.

Now, it’s all a matter of getting Emily to believe that the work she could be doing there is pretty valuable. Her biggest struggle right now seems to be a major lack of self-confidence, and it’s something that no one else is going to be able to help her with (including Ezra and Paige). Now, if only we could find the academic version of Missy Franklin to stop by and cheer Shay Mitchell’s character up…

Now that you understand what Rumer is doing in Rosewood, are you somewhat more excited about it? If you want to check out some other sneak peeks from this “Pretty Little Liars” episode and more, you can do so here.
