‘Family Guy’ season 12: Adam Levine, Peter Dinklage, Bryan Cranston to guest
“Family Guy” will be back for its 12th season this fall, and based on what we are hearing now, it is looking more and more like there is going to be a jaw-dropping amount of guest stars that also enter the fold to get you that much more excited.
So who are the names of the people you will be seeing alongside Peter, Lois, Stewie, and the rest of the gang? According to Entertainment Weekly, it includes the likes of Bryan Cranston, Jeff Daniels, Peter Dinklage, Dennis Farina, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, Adam Levine, Liam Neeson, and Conan O’Brien. Now, just imagine what would have happened if all of these people were in one episode, and you could see Walter White take on Tyrion Lannister in a one-on-one battle. This, dear friends, would be geek heaven.
Obviously, the benefit to there being so many great guest stars on the show is pretty simple: It helps to keep the show fresh since you are seeing so many different people crop up, especially when you remember that there are only so many stories out there when you are more than ten seasons into the run. Also, it allows you to find new ways to get viewers to tune in who may not see “Family Guy” week in and week out.
Despite its long lifespan on TV, this show remains Fox’s most-popular entry of its Animation Domination block week in and week out, even if the NFL lead-in does occasionally allow “The Simpsons” to claim the top spot. Also notable here? That it shows no sign of slowing down at all.
