‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Why is Desiree Hartsock’s brother Nate appearing?

The moment that you found out the news that Nate Hartsock was going to be appearing on Monday night’s all-new episode of “The Bahcelorette” in an effort to spend a little bit of time with his sister, we imagine that there was one question that popped into your head almost immediately: What sort of trouble are we going to encounter?

As it turns out, the trouble may not really be as bad as so many of you out there would think. Rather, a source tells Wetpaint that Desiree and Nate were “in a good place” and caring about each other by the end of their discussion, though early on, there were plenty of concerns as to whether or not they were going to make it to that point:

“The first few moments between Nate and Des were pretty tense … Des had been stressed out enough with the whole process. She didn’t want Nate making it worse. She was really concerned.”

Despite the show doing some manipulative editing in their preview for this upcoming episode, we really have not seen much of any proof at all that Nate is going to be meeting any of her final contenders on the show at all. As a matter of fact, he may just show up, talk with her about the experience, wish her the best, and then go about his merry way. If that happens, though, it’s definitely a blow when it comes to bringing us drama.
