The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 7: Jacob Anderson on Louis, Lestat

As we brace for the chance to see The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 7 on AMC next week, it makes sense to wonder one thing above all others: How in the world are Louis and Lestat going to find their way out of this one?
Basically, it is not altogether hard to explain where we are at this point in the story: The two vampires no longer have their heads! Daniel and Armand have clearly executed their latest devious plan, but to what end? If you are going to go so far as to do something like this, you better think that this is truly going to stick. Will it? We will luckily find out in just a matter of days.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, of course Jacob Anderson could offer no confirmation here one way or another. However, he did note that he has been aware of the impending twist for some time:
Rolin pitched that to us at the end of season two, so I, like, I knew that was coming, I didn’t know how we were going to get there, or how we were going to get out of it, but, but I knew we were going to get there. I wish that I’d had the surprise of just, like, reading through the episode, I mean, to be fair, I was still shocked, because there are things about that it was at, specifically Daniel’s hand, it took me a minute to sort of accept, Armand, like, nothing would surprise me at this point, but like, yeah, that was the real shock for me, was that Daniel would do that.
Will we understand more of what drives Daniel in the finale? It is possible, but at the same time, a few things could be saved for a potential season 4.
