Big Brother 28 host on cast speculation, reality TV alums
What is CBS cooking at this point when it comes to the Big Brother 28 cast? This is certainly one of the bigger mysteries out there. There have been rumors for weeks that we could be getting some returning houseguests, and that is still very much possible. However, at the same time, we’ve also heard new-found scuttlebutt that some alumni from other reality shows could be on board.
So are there some shows that make more sense than others? Of course Survivor will be mentioned, especially given Cirie Fields’ successful run in the past. Meanwhile, Paramount also owns The Challenge and it would not be shocking to see some representation there.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, host Julie Chen Moonves has noted already that she does expect some sort of big reaction to the names that will be revealed:
I can say that if you love Big Brother and you’re a decent fan, it’s gonna register a big reaction. Definitely big. I think some people are gonna be very excited and happy, and I think some people are gonna be like, “Oh, boy.” [Laughs] And I will say that if you are a lover of the top reality shows out there, then I think you’re gonna be very happy. Very, very happy.
In the end, no one should be super-shocked by the idea that Big Brother 28 would pilfer some other shows given that this is the new trend at this point within the world of reality TV. Everyone wants to get some established talent, mostly thanks to the fact that it helps you get off to a better start almost immediately in the numbers. All things considered, why wouldn’t that be a priority? We just still hope that there are at least some newbies given that, at least in part, these are the lifeblood of what makes a show like this entertaining.
